THERAPEUTIC ACTION:
Bone resorption inhibitor. Antihypercalcemic.
Excessive bone resorption due to osteoclast activity results in bone diseases such as Paget´sdisease, hyperclacemia or malignant osteolysis. The intravemous administration of pamidronate disodium dose-dependently inhibits bone resorption.
INDICATIONS:
Pamidronate dosodium is indicated for the treatment of hypercalcemia of malignancy, Pegt´s disease of bone, osteolytic bone metastases of breast cancer or osteolytic bone lesions of multiple myloma.
PRESENTATION:
Pamidronato Servycal 30 y 90: carton with 1 vial containing lyophilized powder and 1 ampoule containing diluent.
